About the Role

We are looking for a Full stack Engineer to help evolve and strengthen the performance, scalability, and usability of a global ticketing and live-entertainment platform used by millions of customers.
In this role, you’ll work across the stack—building intuitive React-based interfaces while developing robust backend services that power high-volume, data-intensive workflows.
You’ll design features end-to-end, enhance platform stability, integrate complex systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive user and business impact.

This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in fast-paced, product-driven environments and enjoys balancing innovation, architecture, and hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

Fullstack Feature Development

• Build end-to-end features across React front-ends and backend services.

• Develop high-quality UI components using modern React, TypeScript, and component-based architectures.

• Create and maintain scalable backend APIs and services that support new product capabilities.

Technical Innovation & Architecture

• Design scalable, maintainable internal and external APIs.

• Improve the discovery and purchasing experiences through thoughtful architecture and implementation.

• Explore opportunities to integrate GenAI into product experiences and developer workflows.

• Leverage evolving data infrastructure to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.

Observability, Optimization & Scaling

• Enhance platform observability and monitoring to proactively detect and diagnose issues.

• Optimize system performance via profiling, tuning, and clean architecture.

• Review and strengthen system integrations to ensure long-term scalability.

Product Collaboration

• Contribute as part of a product squad focused on stability, user outcomes, and business growth.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into elegant, impactful solutions.

• Maintain a prioritized backlog balancing impact, scalability, and technical excellence.

Requirements

• 3+ years working in high-traffic, high-availability e-commerce or transactional platforms.

• 7+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end patterns.

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Java.

• Strong experience designing, consuming, and maintaining scalable internal and external APIs.

• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for both front-end and backend systems.

• Experience with MySQL query design, transactions, and large-scale data operations.

• Experience with ORMs like Hibernate or equivalent.

• Understanding of data engineering principles and how they influence application design.

• Experience integrating GenAI into systems or developer workflows.

• Passion for observability, monitoring, and maintainable architecture.

• Strong collaboration skills and enjoyment of solving complex problems in a team setting.

• Ability to contribute using one of the company’s core technologies: Java, Python, or TypeScript.

Nice to Have

• 2+ years contributing to design systems or component libraries using React and Next.js.

• 2+ years working with AWS, Terraform, or cloud provisioning tools.

• Experience with complex integrations (ticketing systems, payment providers, fraud tools).

• Familiarity with GraphQL.

• Exposure to PHP, Node.js, or Python beyond your primary language.

• Interest in CI/CD, automation, or Docker-based deployments.
