About the role
At Staffy, we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join 4-months project. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions that ensure application quality, stability, and performance across multiple projects.
You will work closely with developers and other QA engineers, contributing to automation strategies, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and continuously improving testing practices using modern tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
Build and evolve automation frameworks using modern tools and best practices.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation.
Execute and maintain different types of automated tests, including functional, integration, regression, and performance tests.
Perform API testing and data validation using SQL and NoSQL databases.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and generate clear and actionable test reports.
Collaborate with development and product teams to improve overall software quality.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards.
Requirements
Automation & Programming
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Ruby).
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or RestAssured.
Strong understanding of automation design patterns (Page Object Model, Data-Driven Testing).
Testing & Quality
Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and test types (functional, integration, regression, performance, security).
Experience with API testing tools and standards (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI).
Ability to validate data using SQL and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
DevOps & Tooling
Experience working with Git-based version control systems.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
