About the Role
At Staffy, we are looking for a Senior React / React Native Engineer to join a high-impact discovery project, working directly with the CTO to define the technical foundations of a new platform.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up the core architecture across mobile, web, and backend, with a strong focus on AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and ensure consistency.
We are looking for a highly technical profile, comfortable working autonomously, making key decisions, and building from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Define and implement a monorepo architecture across mobile, web, and backend
Select and set up frameworks and tooling for React and React Native applications
Build initial baseline applications and ensure end-to-end functionality
Implement authentication and authorization flows across platforms
Design core application architecture (navigation, state management, error handling, etc.)
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Define and implement testing strategies (unit and integration tests)
Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to improve speed, quality, and consistency
Collaborate directly with the CTO on technical decisions and architecture
Requirements
Strong experience with React and React Native
Proven experience setting up projects from scratch (0 → 1)
Experience defining architecture and technical foundations
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
Experience implementing authentication and authorization systems
Solid understanding of frontend and mobile architecture patterns
Experience working with monorepos and scalable codebases
High level of autonomy and ability to work directly with senior stakeholders
Advanced English (you will work directly with US-based stakeholders)
Availability to start ASAP (May 4th) and work full-time
