About the Role

At Staffy, we are looking for a Python Developer to join a multicultural, remote-first engineering team and contribute to the development of high-quality web and mobile applications.

This role is part of an ongoing talent pipeline initiative, aimed at identifying strong engineers for upcoming projects. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from understanding business needs to designing and delivering scalable solutions.

We are looking for someone who can work with a good level of autonomy, write clean and maintainable code, and actively contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, well-structured code with automated tests

• Participate in project management activities (planning, reviews, backlog maintenance)

• Contribute to code quality through meaningful code reviews

• Collaborate on internal initiatives and technical improvements

• Ensure proper documentation aligned with project needs

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions

• Support team members and contribute to technical discussions

• Promote best practices and continuous improvement across projects

Requirements

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software development

• Experience developing applications with Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)

• Experience working in Agile environments

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including design and best practices

• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude)

• Advanced English level (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Experience with LangChain or agent-based development tools

• Experience working on scalable web or mobile applications
